Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC)is seeking a talentedTechnical Writer/Editorwith extensive government experience and the Department of Justice experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Role Overview:Customer staff operate predominantly within a Windows/Microsoft based

virtual desktop environment. Additional proprietary software (e.g. data analysis software)

are implemented as needed to support Customer-specific operations. Customer statistics and

statistical products are predominately developed in house, though data and products may

also be prepared for the Customer by data collection agents, and other partners

Responsibilities:

+ Familiarity with the major manuals of style (AP, Chicago, Strunk & White)

+ Familiarity with the Wall Street Journal Guide to Information Graphics

+ Statistical content development

Required Skills & Experience

Professional Certification(s):

Familiaritywith the Wall Street Journal Guide to Information Graphics.

Formal Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution

Years of Professional Experience:

Five (5) years of work experience working on projects of similar magnitude and complexity

Desired Skills & Experience

+ Managing writing teams and overseeing the editorial process

+ Writing/editing IT and software technical specifications,instructions, and technical/business process documents

+ Direct engagement with IT professionals while providingwriting/editorial support
