As a Project Analyst, you will assist with designing, developing and establishing key reporting standards and processes for the company. You will ensure that data used for analysis dashboards, processes, internal and external reporting is accurate, and can be relied upon with confidence. Responsibilities include building reports that track performance against budgets for the purpose of regular monitoring and reviews as well as reconciling data for multiple projects.
Provide and interpret project tracking reports on a regular basis which identify profitability and performance against budget.
Manage project financials such as invoice tracking, forecasting and project budget vs. actual.
Monitor contracts and identify Change Order opportunities.
Project close-out analysis.
Provide project status reports to Project Managers weekly.
Find opportunities for SSR invoicing.
Analyze timeline fee budgets before proposals are finalized to determine accuracy based on historical data.
Provide regular updated reports to the CEO and COO.
Research, monitor, and analyze data to produce business insights and action recommendations.
Assist in the development and maintenance of policies relating to company operations.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis as required by management.
Identify trends and errors by conducting earnings review of assigned projects.
Provide analytical and statistical support within the organization.
Participate in bench-marking initiatives; analyzing data, identifying performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Monitor and report exceptions to firm wide policies and procedures.
Coordinate with senior leadership to effectively deliver strategic projects; including, monitor progress, manage risk and support project tasks.
Effectively interact with personnel from other functional areas.
Provide thorough post-completion reports detailing project profitability, budget variances and unique obstacles and characteristics, aimed at improving effectiveness on future projects.
