Position Summary: The Content Strategist is responsible for developing a strategy for promoting the business needs.
Establishing an organization’s editorial vice and determining content needs. Channel selection, and distribution. The position focuses on content planning, development, design, production, analysis, management, and measurement. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble a content plan, including conducting competitive research and understanding user personas to determine correct voice, tone, etc. • Assess and address gaps in existing online content, policies, and CMS tools • Set strategy, and create copy decks across various experiences including in-app flow and messaging, short and long form content, and more as required Handle data analysis and implement adjustment in content plan based on findings • Creating specifications and appropriate content for the brand’s designated audience • Strategizing and improving content delivery and promotion • Championing content marketing strategy across the company • Setting guidelines for the tone, style, and voice of all brand content • Setting editorial strategy so content is consistent and compelling across all delivery streams • Measuring and analyzing what’s working and what isn’t with regard to the brand’s content marketing efforts • The content strategist: social-media focus: social editorial calendars, examples of social content, social analytics • The content strategist will manage and produce editorial calendars, voice and tone guidelines and examples by utilizing content briefs Qualifications/Requirements: • 5+ years of experience as a digital content manager, web writer or content editor. • A bachelor’s degree is required (English, journalism, communications) • Experience with marketing creative writing, technical writing and information management is required • Ability to combine strong creative instincts with data-driven analysis • Experience in 3DP industry and manufacturing a plus • Independent self-starter • Results driven • Content delivery skills • Content Monetization skills • Content presentation skills • Multitasking and organization skills • Experience in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and focus • Will require content samples and editorial calendar samples to be considered
