Assistant General Manager

Starting Pay Range: $50,000 to $60,000/Yr Depending on experience

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, Salary

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Nurture positive working relationships with team members.
  • Participate in the company's leadership programs and weekly calls including one on ones meetings.
  • Maintain the FatCats culture, and nurture communication to ensure expectations and performance are clear and being met. Identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary.
  • Utilize company processes and procedures and ensure tools are being used. Oversee general operations of the building including, but not limited to:
    • Scheduling
    • Payroll processing
    • Evaluations
    • Promotions
    • Terminations
    • Special Projects
    • Achieving Budgets
  • Execute weekly/monthly leadership meetings.
  • Maintain a culture that is focused on creating outstanding guest experiences including, but not limited to:
    • A clean and well-organized center.
    • Safe environment for team members and our guests.
    • Speed of service, and accuracy.
    • Clear communication with team members and management.
    • Keeping equipment operating smoothly.
  • Hiring Team Members and assisting the Training & Guest Service Manager in developing team members to meet company standards and values.
  • Work with the management team to analyze and improve the performance of the center.
  • Communicate with GM/DM, and Marketing team to ensure marketing strategies/initiatives are being executed effectively.
  • Assist General Manager with all other responsibilities as needed.
  • Reports to General Manager and has weekly one-on-ones to discuss sales, budgets, operations, and Team Member performance/growth plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years proven leadership experience managing, mentoring, coaching, and developing large teams successfully.
  • Personable but professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and to problem solve effectively.
  • Proven ability in leadership, communication, and negotiating skills.
  • Take initiative as a self-starter known to work with integrity while also being a strong team player.
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset.
  • High EQ with self-awareness, ability to collaborate with others, listen attentively, empathize with others, defuse conflict, show adaptability, and demonstrate good judgment.
  • Computer literate with ability to pick up new software programs and applications easily.
  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Able to lift 35 pounds.
