Computer Literate
Duties and Responsibilities:
Processing customer orders via phone, fax, and email.
Answer incoming customer inquiries. Provide accurate information to customers, providing requested information and alternative solutions as available. If questions are beyond the scope of the Reps knowledge, they will advise the customer, and offer to research the answer and/or forward to other team members or the appropriate Rep.
Build on existing customer base and develop new business
Implementing sales strategies and call prioritization to achieve revenue and meet targets.
Initiating sales calls to new and existing customers within assigned territories.
Attend and be involved in Sales Training meetings to gain product knowledge and sales techniques.
Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.
Sales transactions on computer
Accepting payment via credit debit machine
Other duties as assigned
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, capable of lifting 50 lbs
Skill Requirements:
Experience:
5 years in construction industry sales preferred.
G or D class license with a clean record
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: General office equipment, E-mail and Internet browser
TRUCK TASKS
IMAGE Clean personal physical appearance and truck organization and cleanliness
Good customer service skills
Customer quotes
Good memory
Ability to take notes to compensate
Make list of sold items for the next week as customers count on you
Send a list to the store prior to heading back so they can pick if possible
Good organizational structure
Keep a clean cab and “Truck Showroom” rotate stock so it does not get ruined
Self-sufficient
Must be able to multitask
Takes direction or instruction well
Work on established truck routes and modify with help from Branch
Must be a team player
Must maintain inventory levels
Proper Circle Checks and regular maintenance
Computer literate; use of POS and bank machine
Load at days end and get out on time in the morning
Must tag in tool repairs and call customers to follow up with any Inquiries
Deliveries for shop on inclement weather days
