We are currently seeking to add a Division Order Analyst/Oil & Gas Specialist to our Oil & Gas Administration team! The individual in this role will be responsible for determining ownership of minerals, calculating mineral acres, verifying purchaser division orders and determining obligations under title requirements. Also responsible for annual account reviews, account discrepancies, researching for suspended and escheated revenue, helping with new account set-ups and special projects within the oil and gas administration team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verify purchaser division orders to ensure the correct decimal interest is shown by reviewing assignments, deeds, trusts, last will and testaments, affidavit of heirships, court orders and title opinions to determine ownership of minerals.
  • Review accounts for discrepancies (missed revenue payments).
  • Prepare annual account reviews.
  • Assists in preparing new account inventories.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-3 years of division order or title experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Familiar with web-based mapping tools (i.e. ArcGIS, Enverus, etc)
  • Ability to understand legal descriptions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Work in an open workspace cube environment
  • Continually required to sit, talk/hear and utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read a computer monitor and use a keyboard
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds
