Job Description The YOlanda Garcia Insurance Agency, of Farmers Insurance - located in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking new team members. This position is with a Farmers independent agent, not with Farmers Insurance Companies. Employees of Farmers Insurance agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements, background checks, and training programs.

This is an office-based, customer service position working with new and existing clients, that has the opportunity to transition into a sales related position. No experience within the... insurance world is preferred, as paid training and necessary licensure testing for the role will be provided within the first 30 days for the right candidate.
As a team member of The YOlanda Garcia Agency - Farmers Insurance, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote insurance education and products, to include home, auto, business, and life insurance. Benefits Hourly base (based on experience) + uncapped commissions and bonuses. When meeting minimum service and/or sales requirements, the compensation will be $40,000+ a year.
Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days) for FT positions Valuable experience, growth potential/opportunity for advancement within the agency Responsibilities Works with the agency team to meet production, marketing, retention goals and leave positive lasting impressions Professionally and consistently performs administrative duties, to include on-boarding new clients, servicing needs of existing clients, and maintaining follow-up systems to ensure clients' needs are met in a superior fashion Must be pro-active and use problem-solving skills in all interactions Become proficient in the language, understanding, and providing an education of insurance Must have the drive to win and be able to follow systems of the Agency Requirements Minimum of 10 years of direct customer service experience (successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred, but not required) Must be able to complete licensing courses and complete tests required by state of Colorado and Agency to retain employment Knowledge, skills, and abilities, to include dependable, detail-oriented, self- motivated, positive mental attitude and have a spirit of teamwork and service Willingness to learn and stretch out of comfort zone
