Farallon Consulting, L.L.C. has a full-time opening for a Senior or Principal Level Engineer/Geologist/Hydrogeologist/Scientist in its Irvine, California office.
This position requires 15 to 30 years of experience in environmental consulting in California as an Engineer/Geologist/Hydrogeologist/Scientist. A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related discipline is required. A Master of Science degree and California State professional licensing is preferred. An understanding of environmental regulations at the state and federal level is expected.
The applicant should have experience in a broad range of projects that reflect Farallon’s core practices in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments; Phase II Environmental Subsurface Investigations; Regulatory Compliance and Permitting Assistance; Remedial Investigations and Feasibility Studies; Engineering Services; Construction Support; Litigation Support; Insurance Claim Evaluation; Sediment Investigations; Natural Resources Permitting, and Stormwater Compliance, Permitting, and Management. Your proven track record of client and project development, and ability to initiate contact with your developed clients will be key to supporting the growth of Farallon’s Irvine California office.
The applicant must be able to communicate effectively with peers, clients, and regulators; demonstrate strong written, verbal, computer, and interpersonal skills; and complete a range of field activities and project tasks with minimal supervision. The applicant must have a valid driver’s license.
