We are looking for a Senior BI Administrator and Report Developer with passion and a proven record of contributing to the Administration of enterprise BI Platforms of Fanatics for support corporate Reporting using MicroStrategy, Tableau and other open source solutions.  The ideal candidate will have considerable depth of experience architecting, engineering and supporting the full spectrum of Business Intelligence solutions spanning BI Platforms Administration, Linux scripting, SQL Query Performance Analysis, reports and dashboards development and their code/architecture review using best practices using MicroStrategy and Tableau.
What will you do?
    • Administer MicroStrategy and Tableau
    • Install, Configure, Setup and Maintain modern versions of BI Platforms
    • Provide solution oversight for engineers, analysts and junior administrators including architecture, design collaboration, code reviews and prioritization of work
    • Develop analytical tools (dashboards, reports, etc.) to help users monitor core KPIs, provide proactive alerts/notifications, and facilitate exploratory analysis when needed
    • Promote ongoing adoption of business intelligence content through an emphasis on user experience, iterative design refinement and regular training
    • Empower customers to develop information driven insights through extensive self-service business intelligence training
    • Apply automation of MicroStrategy software using Command Manager and MicroStrategy Systems Manager
    • Use MicroStrategy Data API and build custom Applications using Java and Java Script
    • Assist in ongoing administration and refinement of processes and environments, both data pipeline and analytics.  To include performance tuning, maintenance, upgrades and release management.
What are we looking for?
    • 7+ years experience with MicroStrategy and / or Tableau specially their administration
    • 5+ years working with MicroStrategy Architect, including at least 1 year of experience with versions 10+, at an architecture level
    • 2 years of Experience with MicroStrategy Command Manager and Systems Manager
    • 2 years of Experience with Tableau's automation tools like TABCMD
    • 1+ years of Experience with MSTR Rest API for Dossier
    • 2+ years of Experience with Java , Spring Boot and Java Script Visualization Libraries
    • 2+ year of working with MSTR and Tableau in a Linux environment and Linux memory management tools
    • Experience in performing Upgrades and Project Planning of Microstrategy and Tableau Upgrades
    • Strong experience in creating Reports, Documents and Visual Insights/Dossiers with potentially large user bases
    • Experience designing and developing data models, integrating data from multiple sources, building ETL pipelines, and supporting all aspects of the development lifecycle
    • Must have expert level SQL programming knowledge and experience
    • Comprehensive understanding of cloud-based infrastructures/approaches and the nuances involved in achieving the scalability cloud offers but in a secure fashion
    • Thorough understanding of data warehouse methodologies and concepts
    • Possess technical aptitude and a desire to learn new technologies 
    • Capable of taking ownership of and accountability for deliverables 
    • Able to work in a collaborative environment to support rapid development and delivery of results 
    • Exhibit an understanding of business problems and translate those into creative, innovative and practical solutions that deliver high quality services to the business 
    • Willing to wear may hats and be flexible with a varying nature of tasks and responsibilities 
Bonus Points!
    • Experience with/understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Amazon EMR, Pig, Hive, Spark, and Redshift a plus
    • Exposure to Java or Scala a plus
    • Experience with transaction services is a plus
