Dental Receptionist Level II

Summary:

The Dental Receptionist Level II works on a regular basis as part of the front desk team. As one of the primary receptionists, the Dental Receptionist provides excellent, attentive customer service. In the absence of the Dental Practice Coordinator, The Dental Receptionist, Level II provides day-to-day direction for the Level I receptionists and assigned interns or volunteers to ensure efficient, effective front desk operations. The Dental Receptionist, Level II will also handle other additional duties as requested to support the Dental program and services.

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required. Graduate of a medical office administration program or Associates degree preferred.

Experience Required:
Two years of experience in a dental office including insurance verification, payment plans, provider schedules, data entry, and receptionist duties required. Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to adhere to scheduling and billing deadlines. Proven ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Professional Licensure/Special Skills and Certification Required:
Medical Office Assistant certification preferred. Must be bilingual in English and language appropriate to the health center's patient population.

8.Processes personal health information in accordance with FHCW HIPPA policies and procedures.
