FDA offers a full range of design, environmental, and operations services that includes designing complex highways, conducting wildlife surveys, and retiming traffic signals on congested urban corridors.

In June 2023, the Tampa office will be located at Midtown (corner of Dale Mabry Highway and I-275) which is a new and vibrant mixed-use development with a plethora of restaurants, bars, fitness options, and a grocery store. We have an IT system that provides convenient desktop access from any device, anywhere, at any time.

Description

Currently, FDA is seeking a full-time experienced engineering position in the Tampa office. The successful applicant will have a commitment to customer satisfaction, be personally accountable, self-managed and motivated, able to communicate with others in ways that are clear, considerate, and understandable, place a high emphasis on teamwork, and be goal oriented.

FDA's engineering team is recognized as one of the preeminent groups in the State of Florida. We are experts in most types of roadway design. Our roadway projects include multi-lane reconstruction and widening for interstates and arterials; intersection improvements including roundabouts; resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation (3R), temporary traffic control plans, trails, and sidewalks. Responsibilities will include producing roadway design and roadway construction plans, 3D modeling, and pavement designs. Opportunities are also available to manage task assignments and marketing of new projects dependent upon experience.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with two to six (2-6) years of experience
• Registered Engineer Intern or Professional Engineer in the State of Florida
• Written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Independent decision making with the ability to grow
• Experience with Bentley/ORD 3D modeling
