Job Description
As a member of the COLOSSUS Enterprise Planning and Management team, you will support our customer as a Records Manager. The COLOSSUS team provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for our customer’s strategic planning, enterprise architecture, investment planning, policy and governance functions, in addition to general SETA support to government leadership teams. You will work with team members from across government, FFRDC, and SETA teams to perform activities in support of the customer’s responsibilities for Federal Records Management. The successful candidate will:
  • Understand federal government and customer policy regarding records management compliance requirements and use relevant skills in project and data management and records analysis to translate findings into strategic and tactical recommendations.
  • Identify organizational and enterprise information requirements; determine data components and data sources; determine communication requirements; determine information processing requirements; determine information access and control requirements (to include privacy); determine security classification for information; ensure document/records management requirements are properly implemented.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the existing documents/records management plans at the directorate level and then advising subordinate groups and offices in the development of their plans.
  • Tailor records management best practices for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Apply principles and techniques of governance, business management, configuration control and other methodologies as appropriate.
  • Coordinate closely with various stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of records management-related processes.
  • Maintain and enhance process metrics, including collection, analysis, and reporting methods.
  • Develop and maintain a COMM- approved presentation library and file structure that enable easy and logical retrieval, as well as maintaining the requisite records management, privacy, and security.
  • Maintain all COMM documents, including plans, policies, instructions, briefings, reports, and talking papers, in accordance with NRO document/records management guidelines for retrieval and archiving.

Job Requirements
Required qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance, with CI Poly or willing to take a CI Poly
  • IC experience
  • BS/BA with 2+ years of demonstrated performance related to tasks above (or Associate’s with 5+ years, or 10+ years of demonstrated performance in related tasks)
  • Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility
  • Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired qualifications:
  • BA degree with 5+ years of demonstrated performance in related tasks
  • Training or certifications related to functional responsibilities, such as National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)
