**WE ARE SEEKING A REGISTERED SURGERY NURSES**

Position Summary: The staff Registered Nurse functions independently in performing the nursing process through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of safe therapeutic care for all patient's overt and covert needs and/or complications of treatment on his/her shift. The staff Registered Nurse manages and coordinates the clinical activities on their patient assignment and may be assigned to coordinate the unit activities during his/her shift.

Job Duties: Patient Assessment: Understands principles, demonstrates ability to care for patients of all ages and is familiar with the location and operation of equipment used in their care. *Neurological system *Cardiovascular system *Respiratory system *Gastrointestinal/genitourinary systems *Musculoskeletal system *Integumentary system. Perioperative nursing, Emergency surgeries, positioning of patient and correct surgical site, Endoscopies, General surgeries, Orthopedic Surgeries, OB-GYN surgeries, ENT surgeries and Urology surgeries. Blood Administration, Assist Anesthesiologist during surgery, Patients of all ages undergoing sedation, Post-Anesthesia patients of all ages.

Contacts/interacts with: Patients, Family Members, Visitors, Healthcare Workers, Physicians and community agents.

Working Conditions: Spends approximately 75% or more of time inside. Inside work has good ventilation and comfortable temperature.

Work Positions: Sitting 20%, Standing 40% and Walking 40%

Physical Demands: Medium Work - lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Ability to lift, push and pull with assistance (mechanical or co-worker), the weight of the adult patients.

*Sign-on Bonus - $25k for ICU, ER, OB and Surgery nurses with 2 years experience, New Grads and Med/Surg. RNs $5k.

Student Loan Repayment and Temporary housing provided.
