Field Service Technician Mechanic **Company Vehicle Provided**

We are seeking a Dock & Door Service Technician to join our team! You will maintain, and repair loading dock and overhead doors and related equipment. Service Technician will travel to the customer's location, locate the equipment requiring service, diagnose the problem, communicate with the customer both verbally and in writing to explain the needed repairs, get approval on repair work and finish work as needed.
Key Job Duties:
- Use safe work practices during all job duties.
- Troubleshoot general mechanical issues with dock levelers and overhead doors.
- Read electrical voltages and diagnosing electrical issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic parts.
- Perform routine maintenance including greasing, adjustments, and inspections.
- Log work notes and parts used on iPad tablet.
- Perform repairs in the field at customers locations.
- Use extension ladders, scissor lifts, and power tools.
- Work independently or in small team as needed.
- On-call (after hours) duties and local travel required.

Working Conditions:
- Physical requirements necessary include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, most of the time with infrequent opportunities to sit.
- Must be able to lift or exert a force of up to 50 pounds or greater and be on your feet during the entire work shift.
- Ability to work in wet or humid conditions, as well as extreme cold or heat.
- Occasionally may be required to perform work in the evenings or on weekends.
Experience/Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical, welding, electrical industries.
- Clean driving record and valid Driver's License.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Drug screening & background check.
- Must pass a DOT examination.
