Facility Operations Manager

Facebook is seeking an experienced facilities professional to manage and work on operations, relocation, expansion and renovation projects at our Washington D.C. and Northern VA office. We continue to expand in this market and are looking for someone who can manage multiple locations, totally over 200K SF. This position will have a key role in embodying and supporting the community and culture of this market, delivering new spaces and implementing strategies to scale operations. This full-time position is located in our Washington D.C. office and will report to the Regional Facilities Operations Supervisor - Americas East.
**Required Skills:**
1. Full on-site management of facilities operations and services in traditional and serviced offices
2. Significant role in working with site leads to develop and foster Facebook culture
3. Work with Project Management, Real Estate & Facilities, Office Leaders, Workplace Design and hired Architects/Contractors to define scope of work for satellite office new build, expansion, renovation projects to deliver best in class workplace
4. Coordinate office requirements for space planning, furniture, IT, and Security and other cross-functional partners
5. Support local transportation and events teams and partner with Global Transportation & Global Events & Amenities leads in support of their strategic plans
6. Track budgets and performance to plan associated with Facilities OpEx annual budgets, forecasting, and CapEx planning
7. Manage communication and relationship with building property management companies and their vendors
8. Lead client relationship management for all internal clients and ensure excellent and consistent levels of customer service delivery
9. Provide direction to onsite facilities management vendor team
10. Control of business critical/emergency situations and seeks to resolve promptly while ensuring minimum disruption to the business
11. Full oversight and responsibility of onsite operations, strategy, programs and process to support 24/7 operations, critical systems backup, preventative maintenance, and asset management
12. Oversee alignment of standards in terms of hard and soft services including preventative maintenance delivery, janitorial, moves-adds-changes process, shipping/receiving operations and process including management of IFM contract including SLA's & KPI's
13. Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the facilities environment implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs while increasing productivity and the workplace experience
**Minimum Qualifications:**
14. Experience working in the real estate industry, property management or facilities management and reviewing and knowledge of lease and vendor contracts
15. Experience managing a campus environment spread across multiple buildings
16. Communication experience
17. Relationship management experience
18. Negotiating and influencing experience
19. Experience prioritizing customer service and relationship building
20. Experience handling communication with leadership and heads of office
21. Bachelor's degree with focus in business, facilities management, engineering, real estate, or property management
22. 5+ years' experience in facilities operations, site operations, or property management leadership role
23. Experience in a multi-office environment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
24. MBA preferred
