NOC Engineer (Hybrid position between Remote & In-House)

Job Description We are seeking an Infrastructure Administrator (NOC) to perform ongoing and recurring remote maintenance, management, administration, and other proactive, preventative care IT services for our clients' Windows based networks. This position is a hybrid between working remotely from your home office, as well as working within our office in Woodland Hills. Duties and Responsibilities Manage and maintain the health and uptime of client workstations, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure operating systems and applications Address recurring maintenance tasks for client networks Proactively respond to administrative alerts, resolve backup issues, and enter tickets into ticketing system Monitor and ensure the stability of the network infrastructure hosting FPA's Network Monitoring System Backup Reviews Ensure stability and protection of electronic information... Optimize client and FPA's network performance meeting QOS metrics per client SLA's Occasionally provide after hours and weekend on-call support (every 6 to 8 weeks) Grow both technically and professionally Typical Minimum Requirements CompTIA A Certification Experience using a ticketing system such as Connectwise 2-3 years experience using Network Monitoring Software such as Automate, Kaseya, Spiceworks, etc. Fluent in MS-Windows, MS-Office Suite, Citrix Go-To-Assist Knowledge in the support of servers, workstations, and related components Basic understanding of networking (IP, WINS, DHCP, DNS, etc.) Basic knowledge and understanding of MS-Active Directory, Exchange, MS-Windows Terminal Server, Virtual Environments, Firewalls, and VPN Security Appliances Performance Factors Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the technical requirements Consistently provide high quality and FPA standardized professional services Solid troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills Ability to prioritize effectively and work with a sense of urgency Significant attention to detail Professionalism, enthusiasm, and a great attitude Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to work under pressure FPA Technology Services, Inc.
