Principle Accountabilities:
The Digital Art Director will oversee all graphic design and asset production for multiple brands within our brand portfolio, strategic brand vision, execution across all global online brand expressions (Facebook, partner sites, country sites, etc.) as well as outgoing email communications from the respective brand and their wholesale partners. They are responsible for working with the extended creative team to establish a strategic creative vision, design direction, work with both internal and external teams to create any required assets, present their design, and oversee production and timing. They are responsible for mentoring and developing an internal team of designers. They will work closely with the eComm Director to plan for homepage refreshes across all regions develop site functionality, ADA compliancy and streamline processes and schedules. The Digital Art Director will also work closely with IR/PR + wholesale partners to lead the team in supporting event and PR assets and paid marketing team with video needs across different social platforms.
Fiscal Accountabilities:
- Design and Direction of all online expressions. (25%)
- Concept campaign extensions that support and extend the larger brand messaging as appropriate to the channel (15%)
- Direct and develop a staff of web designers and freelancers as well as any agency partners. (15%)
- Cross functional collaboration and presentation of concepts to Business partners for approvals and alignment. (10%)
- On-figure, video, and product photography asset direction and concepting, including campaign direction, product shoot, brand launches, brand videos, product introduction videos, and tutorials. (20%)
- Actively participate in the direction of multiple brands across multiple channels, guiding and directing as necessary. (15%)
Key Working Relationships:
Brand Managers, Director of Ecommerce, Manager of Ecommerce, Director of Marketing, Editorial Director, Brand Producer, Production Coordinator
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7-10 years working in Design management in a fast-paced studio on primarily digital work
- Deep understanding of cosmetic market, brands, imaging and messaging priorities
- Extensive understanding of digital platforms and development
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Products
Proficeint in Figma
- Advanced knowledge of AfterEffects animation, online video production, and design for mobile applications.
- Excellent verbal skills (presentations, meetings, 1:1 interactions with internal clients)
- BA or equivalent in a related field of study
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform essential functions (with or without an accommodation) without posing a "direct threat" to the health and safety to self or others.
Additional Information:
FORMA Brands takes a market-based approach to pay, and amounts will vary depending on your geographic location. The salary range reflected here is for positions based in the Greater Los Angeles area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future without notice.
Compensation Range:$123,000 - $190,885
