The advertising department is looking for an Account Manager to assist the day-to-day operations of producing, launching and reporting branded campaigns for a variety of advertisers across food, beverage and tourism. This position can require travel multiple times a month, dependent on deal flow and volume.
We’re looking for a 2-year minimum of account management experience specifically relating to digital content production and an additional year of agency or account coordination experience.
Effective written and oral communication skills are an absolute necessity, as the position will be client-facing including leading in-person meetings, conference calls, and group email threads. The position will also require internal communication between our video, editorial, adops, and social personnel/departments.
Skills and experience related to public relations, social media influencers and media planning will be preferred.
Account Organization & Management: AM responsible for the budgeting, production and delivery of contracted line items upon sales department hand-off.
Client Communication: AM responsible for leading client communications including production dates, brand briefs, brand approvals, etc
Campaign Flighting and Launch: AM responsible for aligning various FOODBEAST departments and personnel to coordinate flight and launch for content, display advertising, guaranteed views, native video uploads, social shares, influencer posts, branded editorial, and more.
Influencer Curation & Distribution: Increasingly, more of our campaigns include the curation and delivery of influencer posts designated by region, style or thematic.
Content Syndication and PR Outreach: AM responsible for maintaining our ongoing relationships with partner publications and social media influencers
Campaign Reporting: AM responsible for the oversight of our campaign reports, editing the report for accuracy and working with Adops on specific metrics
45-55+ hour weeks are common, especially during peak seasonality or a windfall of campaign sales
4-year Bachelor degree preferred in Marketing or Communications. Experience a priority over education.
