Job Description


Responsible for receiving and processing consumer payments with completion of a variety of bookkeeping duties. Responsible for working with internal departments, our clients, and validating database financial information is accurate and in line with specified standards.


  1. Accept, set-up, and apply both electronic and physical form consumer payments to accounts within our system of record.
  2. Deposit funds electronically utilizing remote deposit capture software.
  3. Process insufficient funds payments.
  4. Balance and reconcile trust accounts at client determined frequency.
  5. Issue refunds and return payments to consumers when appropriate.
  6. Submit statements and invoices to client via appropriate channels.
  7. Work using standard company procedures to address client financial needs and ensure timeliness and accuracy of work.
  8. Work with other departments and other members of Support Services when necessary to resolve financial issues.
  9. Evaluate problems and situations to determine their importance and urgency.
  10. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  11. Utilize computer applications to access account and financial information.
  12. Produce digital copies of documents for retention purposes.
  13. Review various work queues for account financial handling accuracy and make required updates as necessary.
  14. Perform research regarding account financial issues or inquiries and provide progress updates to the Director, Support Services.
  15. Report data to clients on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis according to specific requirements.
  16. Answer and transfer telephone calls in a polite and informative manner.
  17. Adhere to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, HIPAA, and all other relevant federal and state laws.
  18. Enhance organizations reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.

  13. Possess proficient and strong computer application skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook.
