WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:
The Technical Part:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering preferred) and minimum of six (6) years of exposure in Automation systems within Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written and reading) in Spanish and English.
- Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
- Bilingual English/Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Experience in:
- Computerized System Validation Methodologies, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP, SLDC and Data Integrity Regulations.
- Proven knowledge in automated systems such as PLCs, SCADAs/HMIs, microcontrollers, single loop controllers, DCS, interfaces and report development.
- System integration between Syncade and control systems (DeltaV or PLC) and other enterprise systems, like SAP, OSI-PI, LIMS, and Maximo.
- Crystal Reports, SQL Reports, Visual Basic, MS Windows Server and MS SQL server.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Provides automation technical advice and executes during the development, implementation and the entire lifecycle of automation and execution systems at the assigned Biotech/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Site in compliance with Federal, International, State and Client Corporative Directives and Regulations.
- Partners with internal and external functions (IT Compliance, Manufacturing, MS&T, Quality and Engineering) to define clear user requirements.
- Provides active technical support when conducting data integrity assessments and developing remediation plans.
- Prepares and/or reviews automated system procedures for activities such as: Backup/Restore, Disaster Recovery and/or maintenance activities
- Work both independently, and in a team environment with representatives from Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations and Manufacturing Science & Technology.
- Work within Office Environment and GMP Controlled Cleanrooms.
- Work within a Facility that requires high diligence and on occasion to effectively use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
