Inside Sales Associate HVAC

Basic Purpose: Work with sales personnel to present and sell the company product lines, programs and services in an effective manner resulting in year-over-year growth which is consistent with the company forecast.

Functional Responsibilities:

· Conversant on all key product lines

· Stay current on Eclipse and know how to enter orders, transfer equipment, and order items from purchasing when needed

· Ability to upsell and accessorize customer orders

· Effective and courteous follow up and problem resolution for customers

· Ability to properly process warranty claims and return properly

Critical Duties & Responsibilities:

· Provide excellent customer service to form relationships and repeat business

· Provide price quotes and place orders accordingly

· Attend product and technical training

· Follow up with parts manufacturers and vendors on part availability and order status

· Review Calling Queue to follow up on customers’ orders

· Enforce company procedures and policies for returns, damages, shortages, and backorders.

· Coordinate panel production and delivery

· Contact customers to increase sales during slow periods, to increase existing orders, notify truck is in area or any other customer service initiative

· Annual physical inventory

Requirements & Qualifications:

· College degree or HVAC Trade school a plus

· Must have minimum of three years’ experience quoting, sizing, and selling

· Prior HVAC and/or Plumbing and Heating product knowledge a plus

· Ability to maintain effective working relationship with other employees

· Good communication, documentation, and organization skills

· Microsoft Office competent

· Able to meet deadlines
