Responsibilities:

We have an immediate opportunity for an Enterprise Information Security Cloud Engineer for the Fidelis Enterprise Infrastructure (EIS) Security team. As a member of Fidelis Enterprise Information Security team, you will perform assessments and be an integral focal point to implement protective configurations of the Fidelis environments. The EIS Engineer will perform monitoring, configuration & vulnerability assessments, give architectural guidance, and perform continual documentation & knowledge transfer. In addition, the EIS Engineer for this opening will support a core team of security and IT engineers focused on modernizing integrations for secure identity management with several SaaS services and on-premises systems. The position will be a dedicated resource who will perform work remotely and/or on-site (as needed). The Fidelis EIS Cloud Engineer will travel to different locations when necessary and be a key contributor for major security initiatives. This role is considered a remote work position with travel as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the focal point in the EIS team for Identity Access Management (IAM), Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Security Architecture, and Security Control framework mapping & validation. Focus will be on cloud & hybrid authentication models.
  • Recommend configuration, policy, process and/or procedure workflows to increase the security and compliance of Fidelis. This is to align with modern cloud & hybrid security practices (e.g., SOC2, PCI, CIS, NIST, FEDRAMP, etc.). In various cases assist with the implementation and/or remediation of recommendations.
  • Develop specific reports as required. Work with internal and external auditors to understand the reports validity and integrity of various reports.
  • Investigate identified risk, vulnerability, and/or threats. Work directly with Fidelis stakeholders to resolve.
  • Review security and compliance alerts, and document/implement the necessary actions to close out any findings from the any root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Assist with the tuning of alerts where necessary.
  • Providing additional security insight and validation workflows to hybrid and cloud configurations/alerts. Advanced knowledge transfer & documentation highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent education/experience is preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in network security with an emphasis on either Cloud operations/architecture, Data Loss Prevention, compliance/security architectures, DevOps practices, Identity Access Management, Advanced Threat detection and/or vulnerability detection and remediation.
  • Familiarity with the Fidelis suite of products is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project Management experience is desired.
  • Working knowledge of network security concepts including data loss prevention, advanced thread detection, identity security architecture, compliance frameworks, and incident response.
  • Working knowledge of common malware attacks and network security vulnerabilities.
  • Working knowledge of government regulations, security practices, and network topologies.
  • Capable of working with the suite of Microsoft collaboration products.
  • Technical competence with various operating systems to include Linux, Microsoft, MacOS.
  • Understanding of programming languages helpful, ability to modify scripts and configurations required
  • Ability to work independently.

Compensation

Fidelis Cybersecurity offers a complete compensation package including base salary, eligibility for cash bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. The base salary for this position is $150,000 to $170,000.00
