Chef Andrew Maturana of RAPT Hospitality (www.raptny.com) has released a potential Sous Chef position to all qualified candidates. The position is full-time and located at the new FESTIVÁL Farm-to-Bar Café on the upper east side of Manhattan, New York (www.festivalcafenyc.com). Candidates must have over 5 years experience working as a kitchen manager and sous chef with over 15 years working as a professional cook with confident skills in preparing New-American cuisine. All candidates must have the appropriate paperwork to be onboarded as a full-time, salaried employee and must carry a Food Handler's Permit assigned by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. All candidates must have extensive knowledge in cleanliness and proper food maintenance while working. All candidates must also have extensive knowledge in maintaining their kitchen to the highest standard of sanitation, organization and efficiency. Being Sous Chef at FESTIVÁL is a full-time position, therefore all candidates must be able to work upwards of 50-55 hours a week.
