Principal Responsibilities:
Develop and manage overall customer and partner relationships
Onboard new customers and maintain related processes
Track subscriptions and process subscription renewals
Understand contracts and support all associated contractual obligations
Manage all required internal and external reporting
Coordinate with Business Development and Contracting for new contracts and contract renewals
Work with customers to identify possible enhancements and opportunities to expand product footprint in customer environments
Coordinate with other Account Managers to identify needs and opportunities across customer base and manage cross-customer communication and funding
Work with Stakeholders, Business Analysts, and Programmers to develop and approve technical requirements
Provide product demonstrations and trainings
Understand project budget and manage to profitability
Coordinate stakeholder involvement as necessary across organizations
Work with customers to set expectations for delivery dates
Ability to travel to customer sites for product demos, meetings, and trainings as needed
Required Skills/Experience:
Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
Ability to organize and prioritize
Superior communication skills particularly in what can be highly challenging situations
Ability to create and build relationships
Excellent listening and negotiating skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to successfully accomplish projects and tasks without clear lines of authority
Ability to coordinate resources and relationships outside of direct line of responsibility
A strong operator, capable of driving delivery excellence and operational efficiency
A meticulous attention to detail, especially around coordinating multiple resources and tracking metrics
Preferred Experience:
Experience working within a software development team
Understanding of government-funded (Federal, State, Local) Long Term Care or Medicaid Programs
Knowledge of process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and evaluation processes
Demonstrated ability to balance goals of the organization with goals of the customer
Flexible attitude and strong desire to learn
Ability to understand and represent the needs of the end user in a software development environment
Polished presentation skills
Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
Insurance Industry experience
