Overview: HDC is looking for a highly motivated and energetic project development professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of professional experience in project development, PR, or marketing. The Project Development Coordinator is to support HDC’s core values and mission through the coordination of a broad range of business attraction and retention related activities. This is position is based in Phoenix , with expectation of traveling to main office in Orange, California periodically and Texas area regularly. This position reports to Project Development Director and works closely with Leadership Team. Responsibilities: Support Leadership team to identify opportunities in Arizona and Texas to help achieve annual strategic goals for the firm • Conducting market and client research to identify target clients and the right new opportunities • Establish and maintain effective relationships with both prospect and existing customers • Coordinate and arrange client events, meetings, appointments, and conferences potentially volunteering at events • Assist with the preparation of presentations and pitches for prospective clients RFP’s as well • Create and maintain client databases and mail lists • Network and establish industry partnerships • Track submitted proposals and provide win/loss feedback to management • Ability to travel as needed Qualifications: Interest and desire to learn and work in construction industry • Bachelor’s degree with significant coursework in business administration, economics, marketing or public relations • 1 to 3 years of professional experience. Healthcare or construction-related business knowledge preferred • Strong networking skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational skill and ability to work in a fast paced environment • Excellent attention to detail • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
