PPC Specialist

The PPC Specialist supports the Director of Marketing in all digital marketing and advertising initiatives by analyzing, fine-tuning, optimizing, and growing all pay-per-click advertising accounts and search engine marketing efforts.

Duties of the PPC Specialist

  • Develop a paid search marketing strategy based on existing advertising accounts
  • Create and measure targeted search engine marketing campaigns to drive web traffic and increase overall lead generation in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook ads
  • Monitor and optimize retargeting campaigns in AdRoll by refreshing ad copy and ad designs as well as maximizing conversion rates and CPA through account strategy
  • Consistently monitor all accounts creating relevant negative keywords based on search queries, completing keyword research, adding/consolidating ad groups, freshening ad copy, improving quality scores, adjusting keyword bids, conducting competitor research, etc.
  • Research new Google/Microsoft/Facebook capabilities and settings to stay competitive in the market, capitalizing on new metrics and capabilities of the platforms (Ex: demographic targeting)
  • Monitor all landing pages to maximize conversion rates and create A/B tests to experiment with different page designs
  • Effectively use Google Analytics to measure the success of your marketing activities
  • Work on special projects for Marketing department
  • Manage and implement the following:
    • Quality scores
    • Click through rate
    • Conversion rate
    • Impression share
    • Cost per click
    • Cost per conversion
    • Overall spend
    • Long-tail keywords
    • Mobile advertising
    • Retargeting campaigns
    • PPC best practices

Requirements

  • Education/experience in PPC marketing, Google Ads, Facebook advertising, Microsoft Ads, retargeting (AdRoll preferred)
  • Certifications in all these areas preferred
  • 3-5 years professional work experience
  • Record of success in mid-high level digital marketing roles, preferably showing account growth
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently
  • Creative thinking abilities to spot original branding opportunities
