The Customer Service Support position supports the Customer Service team, which is responsible for providing total customer
service including correspondence to customers, order entry, and facilitating the orders. The CSS supports the CSR to ensure the  successful completion of the order process for a specific group of customers.

The CSS will also help resolve customer service issues / questions in a timely and professional manner to enhance customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicates with the CSR to establish overall customer satisfaction
  • Respond to written and email communications
  • Enter customer orders by identifying the product, quantity and required delivery date
  • Accurately update and maintain customer information and order status
  • Maintains database of customer's special requests and item / product set up
  • Prepares periodic order status reports for customers
  • Interacts with CRM and ERP tools to satisfy customer requests and support Sales Team

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word. Analytical/Problem Solving
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through required 
  • Must be a self-starter, energetic, and results oriented
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills required
  • Ability to type and use the ten-key or numeric keypad
  • Ability to handle multiple and diverse tasks under deadline pressure 
  • Effective verbal and writing skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or minimum two years’ experience in Customer Service
  • Microsoft NAV, Peoplesoft, and/or ERP system experience a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Willingness to work a flexible work schedule to include some Saturdays throughout the year and occasional overtime when needed
