Full Time Maintenance Mechanic!

A local South Phoenix printing company is looking to hire 4 great and skilled Maintenance Mechanics!

$20-24/Hour DOE

Shift: 2pm-10:30pm and/or 10pm-6:30am

Responsibilities would include:

• Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
• Improves and evaluates function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions
• Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Previous printing, bindery or packaging industry experience preferred
• Ability to make decisions independently
• Maintain good attendance
• Excellent people and communication skills
• Act in a professional manner and be a team player at all times
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and have basic computer skills
• Working knowledge of electronics and good mechanical aptitude
• Basic understanding of facilities maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and repairs
• Experienced in the use of basic test equipment
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts as necessary (based on production needs)
