Job duties include but are not limited to:
Answers and responds to store calls, claims, and returns by identifying and providing appropriate Reponses; and responding to and forwarding issues to correct locations.
Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customer, suppliers, associates).
Provides administrative support by performing general clerical duties (for example, filing, keying, faxing); entering data into multiple systems; scheduling deliveries; and preparing, reviewing, and analyzing data, documents, and other paperwork (for example, shipping load sheets, trip status screen, level of service (LOS)).
Prepares outbound documents (for example, bill packet) by verifying shipping information (for example, destination, trailer, weight, time and date of delivery); and identifying the presence of hazardous material requiring a placard.
Documents and monitors information related to transportation by verifying the accuracy of data, reports, and forms (for example, completing outbound bill packets paperwork).
Transportation Office Clerical listens, responds, and resolves customer questions and concerns in an accurate, timely, and confidential manner. Processes, verifies, and submits paperwork, creates and maintains organized files, performs data entry, and identifies and resolves discrepancies in records or files. Informs management about incorrect, inefficient, or improper processes, procedures, or data related to the operation. Uses office equipment and multiple software and hardware applications (for example, copy machines, shredder, Microsoft Windows) safely and correctly and communicates to management when equipment needs to be repaired.
