Job Description: As an Automotive Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' vehicles. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of automotive systems. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for automobiles and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot and resolve automotive issues.
• Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and time required for customer approval.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical information and repair recommendations in a clear and friendly manner.
• Keep accurate records of services provided, including parts used and labor hours.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and advancements through ongoing training and professional development.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Automotive technical certification or degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician, preferably in a busy automotive service center.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
