Job Description

Technical Support Engineer
6 month contract
Seattle, WA/Remote

Overview:
Our client is a smart team of doers that work passionately to apply cutting-edge advances in technology and to solve real-world problems that will transform our customers experiences in ways we cant even imagine yet. As an IT Support Engineer, you will use your technical knowledge and specialized skills to support and improve technology solutions. You will work on projects with minimal guidance and resolve customer issues expeditiously. You should be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks at once, able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot difficult IT problems without SOPs
Collaborate with internal teams or vendors to execute projects
Work with internal teams in building sustained knowledge-base & SOPs
Collaborate with dev team on building self-service diagnostic tools as well as automate repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
Able to troubleshoot difficult IT problems without SOPs
Experience with Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN / Wi-Fi).
Good appreciation of IT infrastructure components.
Good understanding of core Internet technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot Bluetooth connectivity issues in Wi-Fi calls.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

Preferred skills:
Advanced knowledge in handling all common network and Internet protocols.
