Job Title QA Specialist III Location Irving, TX Duration 6+ months Description Lead process improvement initiatives to address systemic issues observed through DHR and non-conformance review. Analyze nonconformance and instrument release data to optimize current release processes. Leads and troubleshoots moderately complex complex issues to determine root cause.
Performs investigations related to design, manufacturing or processes for subsystem or system and create preventative action from occurring again. Leads, identities and implements solutions as a result of investigations. Leads and influences cross functional process improvement teams to deliver and interpret information amongst product team members, leadership, engineers, and other systems development personnel across sites.
Leads and supports metrics based on manufacturing data to drive process improvement activities. Provides financial and staffing estimates based on program schedule and requirements. May be responsible for project expenses, resources and monitoring.
Responsible for defining project goals and milestones. Plans, organizes, executes and reviews Quality Operation project activities and evaluates results. Acts as subject matter expert in cross functional team meetings as well as internal and external audits.
Carries out tasks with little management oversight and makes independent decisions compliant with site level policies and procedures. Ensures compliance to site level policies and procedures and demonstrates a solid understanding of Division and Corporate policies and procedures by promptly addressing noncompliance issues within the Division and Corporation as appropriate. Ensures adherence and maintains the effectiveness of the Quality System, including the Subsystems and Key processes that govern the area by promptly addressing non-compliance issues.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline required. Minimum of 4 years' experience in a highly regulated industry - medical deviceaerospaceautomotive preferred. Preferred Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of excel is preferred with the ability to analyze data and be able to present data that facilitatesdrives decisions.
