Mechanical Engineer-Biomechanical Testing
Entry level biomechanical experienced Mechanical Engineer for 12+ month contract/project position. Must have biomechanical testing.
Biomechanical testing experience is a must on the resume - even school projects count.
The manager is looking for someone that is very hands on with biomechanical testing, whether it is from an engineer project or another job that they worked. Someone that has a mechanical engineer background that was very hands on with testing would stand out.
Investigate basic manufacturing product quality and compliance issues (e.g, CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations) for all production processes prior to final product release based on engineering principles; analyze results, make recommendations and develop reports. (50%) 2. Optimize Manufacturing processes using engineering methods (e.g., SIX Sigma and LEAN methods) for design for manufacturing and for continuous process improvement. Identify opportunities for re-design/design of basic equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. to improve manufacturing processes, and reduce risk. (20%) 3. May develop, update, and maintain technical content of risk management files (10%) 4. Develop training and documentation materials for production (e.g., work instructions) to enable the seamless knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes (10%) 5. Assign support tasks; gives instruction to technicians on conducting tests; trains technicians and provides feedback; and may coordinates technician work (5%)
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or scientific field with 0 years related work experience Required or Master's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or scientific field with 0 years related work experience Preferred
