Job

Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provides main plant contact with customer(s).
Completes Quality Incident Reports including CAPAs for manufacturing operation issues (RMs, filling, coating, converting and packaging).
Develops and presents annual product reviews for customer and regulatory inspections
Through the 90 day VSIP identifies, recommends and leads teams to develop and implement programs to improve and/or enhance: (1) product cost, service and quality and (2) process safety and health environmental impact.
Develops project plans for NPI programs, product improvements and customer driven changes
Authors protocols and technical reports that meet pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
Develops lean six sigma (LSS) knowledge and techniques and runs projects to improve manufacturing processes for the product lifecycle.
Identifies and implements a comprehensive education plan to continually advance technical skills and personal development as well as enhancing organizational effectiveness. Establishes self as a resource within immediate work group
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or technical discipline from an accredited university
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
1-3 years manufacturing experience in a GMP environment (internship level experience is acceptable)
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained.
Experience with direct customer interaction.
