Job Description

Description of duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaboration in long-term IA engineering projects that target new revenue opportunities
  • Perform network and engineering design evaluations to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints
  • Develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Reviews reports of medical device computer and peripheral equipment performance, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems
  • Monitor and resolve network performance issues and provide technical support and guidance to users
  • Verify, document, and report on updates and patches for monitored field and production medical device systems along with technical product experts
  • Create and maintain virtual environments for development, troubleshooting or secure connections to facilities
  • Maintain Symantec Ghost image repository for production systems
  • Conduct routine PC vulnerability scans and work to remediate issues with product experts
  • Fulfill product IT requests and maintain Product FAQ for product IT requests across a variety of digital platforms
  • Leverage experience of clinical workflows and medical device operating environments to improve products and develop new market solutions

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare related field,
  • 5+ years in information technologies

Required skills and experience

  • Proficient with Windows OS and Servers
  • Programming or scripting experience
  • Analyze and understand electrical and mechanical engineering concepts and drawings
  • Analyze and understand fundamental networking concepts and terminology
  • Effective and tactful communication with engineers and managers verbally (independently and in groups) and in writing routine reports and correspondences
  • Effectively convey technical processes and procedures in user manuals and technical guides
  • Ability to work independently and with small groups
  • Work under pressure, manage multiple assignments and determine priorities

· Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Possess a certain degree of independence, creativity, and latitude
