Long term contractual assignment
Perform routine testing, i.e. track and meet testing deadlines, problem solve with team, notify supervisor of problems or unexpected results. Record, report and present results.
Conduct or assist analytical method development for key R&D initiatives
Conduct or assist analytical problem solving for key R&D initiatives
Ensure all assigned equipment is properly calibrated, consumable stocks are adequate, and proper PCMS (preventive checks, maintenance & service) are conducted.
Revise and review SOPs
Comply with all applicable SOPs, Good Laboratory Procedures (GLP)
Prepare protocols, scientific reports and technical documents for internal or external publication/presentation.
Other duties may be assigned
BS/BA degree in chemistry and more than 3-4 years' experience in R&D analytical laboratory or MS degree in chemistry with more than 2 years' experience in R&D analytical laboratory.
Working knowledge of HPLC, GC, ICP and wet chemistry analysis are required
Working knowledge of both Empower software and ChemStation software are required
Strong interpersonal skills to nurture teamwork and foster an environment of achievement, including cross-functional Project Teams involving members from Marketing, Supply, Manufacturing as well as R&D
