Oracle Financial Analyst

Expedient Staffing Solutions is seeking an Oracle Financial Analyst for an onsite position in Long Island City, NY. Applicants should be prepared for 100 % onsite work from day one in Long Island City, NY.

Position: The Financial Data Analyst will be responsible for collaborating on reports/analyses within the Finance Division which will include Job-Costing Analysis, Soft-Cost Analysis, Completion Cost analysis, and analysis on legally mandated reports.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Oracle databases is required
• Experience analyzing data and reports in a Data Warehouse environment is required
• Experience in Job-Costing Analysis, Soft-Cost Analysis, Completion Cost analysis, and analysis on legally mandated reports.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, advanced analytics and delivering actionable insights from data.
• Understands data relationships with strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge/experience with SQL and excel.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL server and or Crystal Reports is a plus

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Prepare financial analyses/reports using Oracle SQL, Excel
• Develop complex queries/scripts and automates periodic reports.
• Using Data warehouse and other Oracle tables, prepare presentation quality reports and analyses.
• Analyze financial data stored in Oracle Financial Systems.
• Work to ensure integration of accurate and complete data sources.
• Perform effective presentations on complex ideas that can be communicated in a simple straightforward manner.
• Write policies/procedures and documents methodologies used to create analyses.

Job Types: Full-time contract

Pay: $54.00 - $63.00 per hour
