Position: Team Lead - Mailroom

Position Type: Non - Exempt

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah 84104

Schedule: 1st shift, 8am - 5pm, M - F (40hrs)

Duration: Full Time - Permanent

Job Summary

The Team lead - Mailroom is responsible for supervising the Mailroom Team and the allocation of resources, equipment and facilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise all site activities ensuring customer satisfaction in all areas of responsibility to include, Mail Services, Records, Shipping, Receiving
  • Supervise, coach and lead a team of 5-10+ employees, across three site locations, and foster a positive atmosphere of professionalism and support
  • Report to 3 site locations within Salt Lake City and Draper with ability to provide coverage support as needed
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction via well trained staff, use of proper work instructions, adherence to scope of services, cross-training
  • Lift large bundles of mail, overnight packages and shipments of paper
  • Operating mailing, copy or fax equipment

Experience

  • Previous leadership or management experience a plus
  • Prior experience in Mail Services a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years customer service and office administration experience required
  • Proven ability to resolve employee and customer concerns
  • Proven experience in high volume/fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills required with high proficiency in Outlook, MS Word/ Excel and PowerPoint

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable sitting for 5-6 hours per day
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, walk, reach and lift up to a maximum of 55lbs. or the maximum allowed by current State law with or without accommodations
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven analytical skills
  • Solid, basic mathematical skills required
  • Ability to work overtime to provide coverage and satisfy Service Level Agreements
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
