Job Description

 Position: Corporate FP&A Manager / Analyst

Location: Troy, MI

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain monthly and quarterly board reporting package.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and other driver-based models, perform sensitivity analysis, build scenario cases for new initiatives, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and capital allocation.
  • Prepare and own Non-GAAP metrics for external reporting.
  • Prepare Investor fact sheet, Investor deck data and non-GAAP reconciliations.
  • Assist with 10-Q MD&A
  • Drive integration between financial systems and increased automation.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting of the business' financial results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted.
  • Assists with key financial processes across the organization, including Financial Planning (LRP), Budgeting, Forecasting and Management Reporting & Analysis processes. 
  • Ensures compliance and good standing with financial institutions by providing financial statements and other reports to satisfy debt covenants.
  • Assists cash management personnel as required to support overall cash forecasting for the Company
  • Responsible for analyzing, creating and maintaining the company wide debt, compliance & related analytics processes.
  • Own and maintain the management reporting hierarchies in Hyperion Essbase for management reporting.
  • Prepare write-ups and presentations for meetings and events with senior leaders, our Board of Directors, and capital providers.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 8-12 years of progressive experience and demonstrated growth in Finance/FP&A positions
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field; MBA/CPA a plus
  • Experience in both large, well-run public companies and smaller, high-growth companies is desirable; Experience with SaaS or BPA companies a plus
  • Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles; Experience with Salesforce, Hyperion Essbase or Host Analytics a plus
  • Proven ability to work across departments with varying levels of staff and management to solve problems and achieve results
  • Superior attention to detail, while also demonstrating ability to see “bigger picture”; Must exercise sound judgment, show drive and self-initiative, and feel confident verbalizing comments and suggestions
  • An independent, self-motivated individual who works well under pressure with a positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Possess excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with a great work ethic and an analytical thinker with superior problem solving and decision-making skills, possessing the initiative to create presentations and analysis from scratch to answer questions posed and investigate the details and interpret the impact of key business drivers
  • Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information
