Embedded Software Development opportunity

Must be willing to come to Central Iowa once per month

Full-time direct hire role (no C2C).

You need to live within a drivable distance to central Iowa, for the right person you can be 95% remote. There is a need to come in occasionally for testing, or if you like coming into the office a little bit they have teams that come in 1 to 2 days per week and another that enjoys being in the office - long story short, you have options.

Our client has a great company culture for engineers! We are looking for a senior embedded engineer with 6+ years of product development focused on software development to join their team in building software that supports the global ag community! Technical requirements include a strong understanding of C++, Linux, and embedded systems. A plus will be if you have experience with python, and geospatial functions/concepts.

We are looking for an experienced Embedded engineer comfortable working with a variety of programming languages for embedded devices and Linux. We are looking for a Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution in computer engineering, software engineering, software engineering, or another engineering discipline.

Our clients' teams are responsible for the design and delivery of software solutions. In this role you'll be a technical lead designing, implementing, and testing innovative solutions. Their teams are delivering high-quality code within sprint boundaries. Working with other technical leaders working to improve their technical solutions and development processes. In this role, you'll actively participate in retrospectives and code reviews. We need someone comfortable demonstrating technical features to the business. As a senior, you will technically assist team members with troubleshooting and mentor less experienced team members to evaluate design implementation.

Compensation goes up to 125K, with excellent benefits!
