Territory Sales Representative - Building Products

Job Description

The territory sales rep will be responsible for achieving maximum sales growth, profitability, and market penetration for the South Florida territory. The rep will be expected to travel throughout the territory to establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers while generating new business.

Duties

* Responsible for communicating with new and existing customers to explain features and benefits of products and services offered

* Develop effective sales proposals for new and existing customers

* Research and utilize sources for developing prospective customers and determining their potential

* Compile and maintain database of prospective customers based on information from industry directories, trade shows, internet and other sources

* Calculate and quote selling prices and prepare sales documentation where required

* Develop and maintain relationships with branch managers and all purchasing contacts at the local level

* Analyze and interpret current and past sales trend data, selling prices, anticipated revenues and market potential

* Participate in trade shows and conventions around the country

Qualifications

* Five years sales experience in building materials with an emphasis on new product development

* Minimum of an Associates Degree in Marketing or Business Management

* Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and smart phone technology
