Accounts Receivable Specialist - Law Office

Our client is a long-established law firm, specializing in litigation, insurance claims, workers’ compensation, and employment counseling. We are seeking a professional and diligent Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client’s main office, located in Woodland Hills, CA

This is a traditional Accounts Receivable and collections position. You will be reviewing invoices with the accounting team, and following up on out-of-due invoices to make sure the monies come in.

You will also:

• Resolve account discrepancies
• Process and record transactions, as well as maintain records regarding payments
• Generating reports and statements for internal use
• Performing administrative tasks as needed, like preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, and filing paperwork

Since my client is a law office, you will be using various legal payment software like Legal X and Quovant.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. First shift, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Monday to Friday.

This is what we are going to be looking for in your candidacy:

• You have at least 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable/Collections experience, or something similar
• You know how to use software like Legal X or Quovant
• You are well versed in MS Office products like Word and Excel
• You can operate independently and can work with minimal direction
• You carry yourself professionally and arrive on time to the office
