Program Manager - Client Reporting

Overview

Evolver is seeking a talented, experienced Project and/or Program Manager who understands the investment management industry. You will work closely with several teams including Client Reporting, IT, Data Governance, other project teams, and impacted stakeholders across the organization. You will create detailed project plans, monitor/track status across various phases, assess risks/issues and manage cross-functional resources to successfully deliver projects, while keeping all stakeholders updated along the way. The Program Manager role will report to the Head of Client Reporting.

Our client is currently embarking on a program to transform their client reporting capabilities. This program entails restructuring and centralizing all client data used for their website, factsheets, separate account reporting and client meeting presentation books. This is a multi-phase program which consists of smaller projects, having several deliverables that need to be overseen, for a successful implementation.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating detailed project plans defining scope, timelines, and deliverables - successfully working with various stakeholders across the organization
  • Lead and manage all aspects of project planning within and across related projects including scope, scheduling, resource management and cross project collaboration.
  • Drive the business requirements, process flows, use cases, development, test plans and other work stream related activities and artifacts.
  • Facilitate impact analysis of current/existing technologies.
  • May contribute and/or lead vendor relationship management for project-related vendors and coordinate initial contracts, contract renewals, and addenda to contracts with key project vendors.
  • Keep project governance up-to-date, reports on projects as per PWM PMO standards, and contribute to their incremental improvement.
  • Monitor project execution and escalates project risks and issues early.
  • Facilitate adoption of business process changes and lead project team and stakeholders through effective change management.
  • Develop detailed training, communication, rollout plans, and manage business process changes.
  • Lead integration of multiple upstream and downstream data interfaces.
  • Manage time bound regulatory compliance projects impacting critical business functions.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS and/or graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of proven success in financial services.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, advanced knowledge of project management principles, and demonstrated success. Experience with project management methodologies like agile, waterfall, hybrid of the two, and relevant tools like Jira and Confluence is necessary. Formal certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the investment management industry managing data, reporting, CRM, and technology implementation projects.
  • 5+ years of experience with working expertise in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and have strong attention to detail.
  • Experience that demonstrates an in-depth understanding of Technology, Data, and Investment Management.
  • Optimal candidates will have a proven track record for delivering on complex change initiatives within a challenging environment.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to build relationships at all levels of the enterprise including external vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, exercise independent judgment and strategic thinking under a minimum of supervision.
