Marketing and Promotions Specialist
Evolution Music is looking to hire an in-house marketing and promotions specialist - with an emphasis on social media, for our rapidly growing music and entertainment company. Must have experience in the record label/ music industry. Our Social Media and Marketing team is instrumental in managing the company’s content-related assets, developing and implementing our brand voice, monitoring and building of all social media platforms and optimization of websites. The Marketing and Promotions Specialist will help to round out our team to help us successfully achieve our social media and marketing strategies.
Working directly with our in-house team to strategize and implement a diverse digital marketing plan for various projects.
Ability to see the big picture of our marketing/social media plan and campaigns.
Overseeing development, creation, design, execution and management of all promotions, social ad campaigns and media buying; including purchasing and implementing audience-targeted, optimized and tested PPC campaigns on Google, Instagram and Facebook, etc.
Analyzing key metrics/analytics, and tweaking strategy as needed to increase engagement, traffic and ROI.
Target competitors and strategize to continue growth.
Deliberate planning and goal setting.
Growth of brand awareness and online reputation.
Ability and knowledge to grow our social media accounts organically.
Utilize social media networks like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc to gain more attention with marketing and promotions.
Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written), including administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content. Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
Monitor, listen and respond to users in a social way while cultivating leads and sales. Manage efforts in building brand reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions. Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
Oversee design concepts with our team (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Insta, Blog, etc.).
Compile reports for management showing results of your efforts.
Content management including; Creating a regular publishing schedule, Leveraging the right tools to manage our content, Implementing a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
Creation and implementation of email campaigns.
Collaborate with team to optimize SEO and implement overall digital marketing campaigns; SEO/keywords and targeting, integrated marketing, social media strategies, and platform optimization (social, websites and email campaigns)
Develop and launch sweepstakes and contests designed to generate consumer interest in products
Target fans and help to set up/manage street teams for recording artists.
2+ Years experience in marketing and promotions in the music or entertainment industry (please specify your strengths/experience when applying)
Must be expertly organized with a passion for the music industry and the creative process
Expertise of radio promotions and airplay is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Skilled in computer applications including; Microsoft Office, Mac software, Google Drive, and Dropbox
Ability to work as a team player, as well as a proactive independent worker
Able to be flexible and adapt to quick changes and remain positive under tight deadlines, excel in a fast-paced setting
Willing to go above and beyond for success
Must be flexible to become Full-time.
