Sales Executive Northern Virginia - Colocation

About the Role

EVOCATIVE is a leader in the cloud to edge technology services, and we’re seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This individual will join our established Colocation team, with a focus on the Northern Virginia market and East US. The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual who can prospect new business opportunities on their own through cold-calling and personal networking.

Responsibilities

• Manage a base of existing EVOCATIVE customers.
• Expand sales and build customer relationships with current clients
• Prospect for new clients in need of colocation and other EVOCATIVE services
• Respond to inbound sales requests from various inbound and outbound lead generation programs
• Perform discovery of prospect needs and challenges
• Prepare and present a proposal showing potential customers the value of our services
• Use technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build credibility in the account
• Leverage your sales skills and proven track record to close business and bring in new accounts
• Provide guidance and expert advice to management, clients, or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics
• Analyze each client's circumstances individually and collaborate with Data Center Managers and Engineers to evaluate potential solutions
• Achieve monthly revenue targets by leveraging consultative and relationship-building selling techniques

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated sales success in IT-related services, preferably in colocation sales
• Great presentation skills and an articulate communicator
• Innovative and creative
• Passionate and self-motivated, able to work on own under general supervision
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business with Computer Science, Information Technologies, or related discipline
• Professional and positive attitude

Location

We are seeking candidates in the Northern Virginia area only.
