Everything Kitchens has been a leading retailer in residential kitchenware and commercial foodservice for 15 years. We stock and distribute over 14,000 products through our website: EverythingKitchens.com and our retail store. We just moved to custom built office and warehouse to accommodate our growth, and we’re looking to add to our team.
We’re looking for an ambitious, growth and business minded person to add to our Vendor Management team. You’ll work concurrently with other vendor managers and report directly to the CEO.
A successful vendor manager will be one who understands their position at the intersection of nearly every department. Through their role, they will be able to negotiate for competitive pricing, curate product selection, develop retail pricing and distribution, and maximize profitability.
This position offers a tremendous amount of control over the relationship with vendors and impact to the bottom line of the company. Your goal will be to purchase intelligently, both in existing and upcoming products, price competitively, negotiate when necessary, and curate an effective timetable and project scope to market effectively.
Our goal is for you to be trained and making an impact within the first year taking your role, and to adopt a portfolio of vendors with whom you establish relationships with.
In this position you will need:

A sound business or entrepreneurial mind for the way vendors make decisions and how pricing and market forces affect the marketplace.
Understanding of basic business principles such as profitability, COGS, etc.

No industry knowledge is required for this position, we can teach you. The most important contributors to success in this position are those which lend themselves to the entrepreneurial spirit. However, candidates who succeed in this position often meet most of these criteria:
Proficiency in Excel
Experience handling vendors and negotiating
Experience purchasing from vendors
Bachelor Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or Business. MBA preferred.
Experience in marketing
Communication and Project Management.
