EveryMind is hiring a Full-Time Manager with the Serving Together program in the Baltimore Region. This individual is responsible for working collaboratively with community partners (federal, state, local) to identify existing programs and organizations providing services and information to the military and veteran community in the Greater Baltimore Region. The Manager will develop relationships with key stakeholders; coordinate meetings, forums, and briefings; help coordinate and oversee peer navigation services; coordinate community-based collaboratives and engage existing and new service providers.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing outreach and engagement required. Familiarity with military and veteran population and related services is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including health and human services providers, utilizing strong communication and engagement strategies throughout the Greater Baltimore Region.
  • Supporting implementation of program planning which addresses needs of community providers as well as veterans, service members and their families.
  • Coordinating and facilitating community meetings and trainings, including local collaboratives.
  • Provide educational trainings and workshops, including Mental Health First Aid, to the community.
  • Supervising Veteran Peer Navigators when assigned, maintaining quality assurance and high performance standards of services.
  • Support outreach and engagement efforts to the military and veteran community.
  • Effectively communicate with network providers to ensure completion of all services and discuss performance enhancement opportunities.
  • Maintains knowledge of most up-to-date industry standards and innovation.
  • Other ad-hoc project and duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field.
  • Experience providing outreach and engagement required.
  • Familiarity with military and veteran population and related services is required.
  • Experience providing case management and trainings preferred.
  • Experience transitioning service members, veterans, and spouses is encouraged.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks while working effectively as a team player.
  • Must have strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Teams, and other technology platforms. Skills with social media and database management are also critical.

Work Location:

This position has the possibility of hybrid, providing an opportunity to have a blend of remote and onsite work at the discretion of the Director. Onsite work is regularly required and includes participation in internal and external meetings, attending community events, supporting direct staff and/or clients and efforts to support building strategic partnerships.

The employee must be available to perform the duties of the job mostly during core business hours (between 9-5pm, M-F), some flexibility with schedule may be available (evening and/or weekend hours). Employee will work mostly on-site but may work some hours remotely with approval of supervisor. The employee must pass a criminal background check. Certain job functions may require employee to pass a child sexual abuse and other criminal activity as well as a credit check. All staff providing services to staff or clients, must be free of illegal drugs and abuse of alcohol, and must be fully able to perform all required duties at all times.

The employee is also required to travel to different locations. Therefore, the employee must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.

Full COVID-19 vaccination is required for this position. New hires must be fully vaccinated by the first day of work. (Accommodations may be made for Medical or Religious reasons). If not vaccinated employees must undergo weekly COVID-19 testing. The option for weekly testing is only for certain positions.
