UX/UI Designer

EVERY MAN JACK is a leader in the natural men’s grooming space in the United States, with a presence across major national retailers like Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Whole Foods, and Amazon. Born at the base of Mt. Tam in Marin County, CA, the company is headquartered in Mill Valley, CA, just north of the Golden Gate bridge. We’ve experienced significant growth over the past several years and continue to add top talent to our growing roster. Considering a host of recent initiatives – including our national collaboration with Marvel, significant retail distribution opportunities, and high growth e-commerce initiatives – there is truly no shortage of exciting projects for the EVERY MAN JACK team.

We are looking for an experienced freelance UX/UI designer to assist with a wide range of projects on our ecom store on an ongoing, hourly basis. Deliverables would include everything from wireframes to promotion graphics. No job is too big or too small for you. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how our site function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe CS or Figma
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
