We are currently seeking an in office Medical Administrative Assistant (MAA).

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assure that required office and administrative functions are met on an ongoing basis
  • Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the agency including professional and non-professional services
  • Ensure the hiring process is structured to assure appropriately trained staff
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, services, and quality assurance
  • Review and approve all policies and procedures related to safe and adequate patient care and operation of the Home Care agency at least every two years
  • Lead and manage budget and accounting systems
  • Develop and maintain records and reporting systems which provide for proper service control and measurement of program outcomes
  • Encourage and promote positive and professional communication between staff and agency administration
  • Ensure the accuracy of public information materials and activities
  • Assistant coordinate agency programs with other community agencies and strategic partnerships
  • Ensure the client complaint process is followed and intervene/escalate where appropriate
  • Provide on-call services after hours and weekends as needed or directed
  • Assure the availability of Administrative staff at all hours of agency operations

Further this position acts as a recruitment specialist who requires the ability to recruit and hire nursing staff. This position will entail the responsibility of actively staffing incoming referred clients, while accurately documenting the home health process. An applicant with home healthcare experience is desirable.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in application of electronic medical record (EMR) and excel are preferred
  • Experience with DDD a plus as well as a CNA
  • Possess skills in office management, organizational experience in regards to coordination of staff and communication expertise
  • Effective leader with good employee relations and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance regulations with eagerness to improve
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
