Position Objectives

  • To strengthen our sales team for the future with additional business development expertise,
  • To accelerate our new business growth with the addition of an exceptional sales executive who will effectively articulate the company’s unique value proposition, match this proposition to customer’s needs, close more sales and enable us to build a strong US team.
  • To add further energy, innovation, and professionalism to our team, to our product and service quality, to communication between commercial, development and supply colleagues and to our whole organization.

Responsibilities of the Role

Strategy Development / Implementation

  • Vox has a clear brand position and global growth strategy that involves demystifying, systemizing, and consolidating diverse POP requirements to reduce costs, improve brand presentation and speed distribution growth. The Senior Account Executive will have primary responsibility for implementing this strategy with customers and colleagues within the US business division through proactive sales, through account-based marketing activity.
  • The role will carry responsibility for delivering against key sales and financial objectives that are central to the company’s global growth strategy.

Team Membership

  • Developing new business and contributing to the commercial team with ultimate responsibility for the setting and achievement of the new business goals.
  • Collaboration with our US team and with other business divisions and functions within the company.
  • Liaison with / reporting to the Head of US and the directors as part of the Vox sales team.
  • Contributing to the morale and productivity of the Group team as a colleague who builds rapport and team-spirit through effective communication and professionalism.

Commercial Impact

  • The Senior Account Executive will take charge of the New Business goals accounts, development pipeline and new category development. The US business division is expected to grow and be the Top business division so commercial impact of this role is high.
  • The role carries P&L responsibility, including price, budget, margin, and cost management that will be based on the Sales Executives commercial acumen, and determination to achieve business objectives so will have a direct impact on the profitability and success of the company.
  • As a particularly high-profile representative of Vox and a wider audience, this role has responsibility for communicating and reinforcing Vox values and reputation and for the delivery of our services so that they generate results for customers and long-term prosperity for the company.

Provision of Advice / Support / Service

  • The Senior Account Executive is required to rapidly learn and understand Vox culture, processes, products and services and their relevance and benefits to our customer and to become a trusted advisor, authority and solution provider to customers and prospects.
  • The Senior Account Executive is responsible for providing senior management and colleagues with timely and professional reports, feedback, intelligence, and recommendations that will enable effective strategic and operational planning.
  •  As Senior Account Executive, responsibility to be a role model for team members and influence by example across the company. The Senior Account Executive is expected to provide support and clear direction to Account Managers.

Planning & Organizing

  • Vox USPs lie in the systemization and highly efficient management of our customers’ POP supply chains, so the Senior Account Executive has individual and collective responsibility for planning and organization of proposals, solutions, projects, and developments with new business so that we exceed expectations on delivery and profitability.
  • The role carries responsibility for planning and organizing workflow and resources of the team and across the business unit so requires regular, clear communication with colleagues across multiple time-zones face-to-face and via written communication and conferencing.

Key Indicators of Effective Performance

  • Achievement of revenue and profit targets through agreed commercial strategy and tactics. Major contribution to the formulation of targets and strategy in conjunction with the Head of US.
  • Production of sound account plans and the demonstration of quantified progress in moving sales opportunities into and down our new business development funnel. Customer engagement with our products assortment and other USPs.
  • Production of polished and persuasive presentations and proposals for customer solutions and investment that promote Vox values and USPs and that generate sales results.
  • Regular, clear analysis and communication to the Head of US and across the business on market opportunities, customers, and results. Effective use of data and our core business processes.
  • Efficiency, productivity and motivation across the US Division team and recognition by customers and colleagues as a trusted advisor and thought leader on Vox and on POP supply-chains.

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or relevant role.
  • Consultative selling in an in-person or virtual environment.
  • Outstanding demonstration and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience within the BWS (Beer, Wines, Spirits) Industry.
  • Flexibility to travel within the US on an as needed basis.
